Here's a new twist. I got high a a kite on shrimp chips, no kidding!
I was downtown, yesterday, and picked up a med bag of shrimp chips. We all know what they are. Fluffy, pink, salty, etc. It was no big deal. I'm eaten a thousand bags, before. But, wait...... I'd comsumed almost the whole bag and was almost back home, about 14 of the total 18 miles. I was looking out over the few snow covered fields when it occured to me there were purple highlights to those snow fields. Pretty soon I became just a bit light headed. The "purple" pheee-nom became more pronounced. Then, it went into overdrive. White/purple everywhere. My eyesight became eratic. I had no prob driving, but the peripheral view was close to real-deal psychodelic! Could this be the much promised flash-back? I made it home, no prob. I went into the house and immediately fell into a deep sleep for at least 4 hrs. I never sleep during mid-day. Not only that, but I usually don't sleep worth a damn at night if I sleep even a half hour during the day. Not this time. Slept like a log all night long. Real bizarre. Never experience such a thing. Should I stock up on this brand of shrimp chips? ![]() nb |

I get a buzz off of eating seafood that I'm allergic to. It doesn't make me sleepy though. Probably the opposite. Perhaps this was just am allergic reaction. If not to shrimp, then from something else in the chips. Could also be brain tumor, cancer, brain hemorrhage, meningitis, or any number of brain disorders. But I wouldn't worry too much about it. -sw |

Seems to have been the former. Bummer. Felice |
