Hmm - OK. I guess I was having a Jill moment. I thought it was
hosted someplace else. It used to be...

Hmm. My markers need to moved about 220 yards ENE. They used to be
right on according to the satellite map, but now they
re off a little bit ;-)

I've mentioned it...errr, "her"... a couple times. Nobody believes
it though. Which is fine with me. She's been on the map for a few
years as you probably noticed.

It *is* hosted elsewhere.... I just have links to it on the site for
'convenience'...

Cathy, can you put up something about the new features, and how much
time a person has to edit/delete their marker if they don't like what
it is, or if they got the placement wrong?

The edit function just lets you delete the one you put up, and replace
it with another pic, or something like that. It doesn't let you make
changes to the one you already put up...if you put a jpg up. You have
to make any changes to jpg first..then put it up. And if that doesn't
work for you, you can then take that one down and try again.

I already did that... I quoted the comments about the new features you
had in your first post...

I found the above a tad confusing, so I tried a 'test' marker myself and
added a .jpg to it, then hit the 'place' button. When I clicked on my
new marker it came up with the choice of 'edit' and 'delete'. I chose
'edit'. It popped up the placement box again, showed me the original
Name/Message comments I had, but not the path to the.jpg (that was
blank)..I changed the Name/Message, then I hit 'update'. It changed my
comments but kept the original .jpg. Then I went back to edit it again,
and changed the text and chose a different .jpg. That updated
everything. So, IOW, you can change the .jpg by replacing it with
another .jpg - but if you decide you don't want a pic after all, it
seems that you have to delete the whole marker and start again. Do you
agree?

I did the same... I agree... the jpg can't be removed without removing
everything.
