Default Frozen corn dogs

I have tasted frozen corn dogs that are good.
The ones I have bought are not.

Anyone have a brand name they like?

I'm not a big fan of corn dogs, but my (adult) daughter is. She buys
"State Fair" brand - I think they're the original frozen ones.

In past years State Fair brand was the best with me.

If looking to make your own corn dogs google Cozy Dogs and order their
batter, they have been featured on FoodNetwork & the batter is
excellent, I use Koegel's skinless hot dogs for this.

Buy ones that are BEEF hot dogs. State Fair brand comes in both
BEEF and Mystery Meat versions. Vienna Sausage Co. also has a beef
corn dog.

Or you can make your own if you want to get messy:

(Some of those are smoked sausage)

I just tried them. They are good.

I can remember getting some fresh ones at the beach in Panama City
that were much better, but for frozen I would say State Fair is a
keeper.
