Yeah, I know it's long, 1-1/2 hrs. And, I'm not typically one of rfc's
Chicken Littles (you know who you are), but I think this one deserves your
attention. It is, after all, about the food you eat and it appears Monsanto
has wormed its greasey self a whole lot deeper into our lives than even I
ever suspected. So, take a little afternoon break and become outraged. I
did. I can't hurt to be knowledgeable about what you put down your gullet.
It may save an offspring or two. Maybe even your own life.

Yep!!!

We can't obviously do anything but safeguard our own health but HOW?

How do you isolate bio-engineered food. Looking in the pantry, probably
everything in it or a large portion of it is genetically modified.

All the underhanded dealings between Monsanto and the FDA are criminal!
More regulation of organic products than any bio-engineered products?
What's wrong with THAT picture. The almightly dollar.

PCBs, agent-orange, BGH, BT cotton, RoundUp "Soybeen" seeds? They've never
done us any favors, "bio-policing," just for a buck?!! So much for Monsanto
having religion or a conscience.

If they could genetically engineer corn so their logo grew on each kernel,
I believe they'd do it!

Worldwide transgenetically mutating native crops so fast! Before long we'll
be down to one corn, one rice, one soybean, etc., for all mankind?

And Farmicide!

Thanks Monsanto.

It was s very well done film. Watching, I kept thinking of Monsanto as the
company in the X-Files movie in charge of alien DNA in corn and those
tanker trailers full of corn oil on the railroad freight cars delivering it
to the clueless masses.

Well, we are clueless and powerless, hence well placed outrage!

Thanks,

Andy

It's a toss up. What will kill us first? Global warming or Monsanto. It's
an expose' like this that confirms my belief the human race deserves to
perish. I'm reminded of that quote from The Matrix:

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to
me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you're not
actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a
natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not.
You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural
resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to
another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same
pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a
cancer of this planet. You're a plague and we are the cure." --Agent Smith

You might enjoy a science fiction novel, _Oryx and Crake_, by Margaret
Atwood.

Julia,

Maybe. I think that for the moment, truth IS stranger than fiction.

Best,

Andy
