Hadn't cooked at home all week and wanted to make an ordeal
out of it. I thought this would be "fun", or at least very original. Severely violated chicken: http://i27.tinypic.com/2ia4do5.jpg Veggies for the stuffing: http://i29.tinypic.com/qxv51v.jpg Filled: http://i32.tinypic.com/34e8het.jpg Cooked: http://i28.tinypic.com/qz4w2e.jpg Sliced: http://i30.tinypic.com/25i6onl.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/15iybp.jpg The stuffing was boneless chicken thighs and breasts (from a different chicken), shrimp, the veggies you see in the pan sautéed in butter and Reisling, and some other stuff. But that was the gist of it. Baked for 80 minutes at 3550-425F flipped twice to brown evenly. I don't know what you'd call it. Has anybody invented one of these already? -sw |

What kind of sauce, or gravy did you serve with it? Agreed, an inordinate amount of effort, unfortunately it doesn't look very appetizing... looks more like the result of a Crystal Palace nightmare! hehe And there's no way to even guess how it tastes, no seasonings were mentioned. Were I going to make the effort to skin a chicken I'd use it to make a kishka k'nish (perhaps stuffed with peppery mashed spuds and fried onion mixture). Then I may use the chicken meat and veggies to make a la king or pot pies... or for creativity that looks edible perhaps grind the chicken and make a terrine. Leave it to sqwertz to use a chicken hide to create a sack of shit (doesn't even look fully cooked through)... he had to be inebriated on something, or he'd not have added shrimp. To be perfectly honest I'd have to say I think Sqwertz couldn't sfford condoms so he skinned a chicken but the girl never showed. LOL |

If I could have obtained a whole pig stomach, I would have used that instead. I'm a very adventurous cook. If you weren't so cheap and could afford a real news server, you could have seen the full description and more pics at alt.food.binaries. Anyway - your obvious jealousy is again noted. Go back to grilling your mechanically separated chicken hot-dogs. -sw |

Sounds to me like something you would do. In any case, I use several nntp servers, and always have. I'm used to a few if them being inconsistent. It's usually the free ones. |

Nope, I don't netKKKop, cyberpussy, and Steve admitted to doing just this on another thread... So direct your "inquiries" towards him...not that he'll answer you here in public. The end result has a resemblence to a sweater.... Make the stuffing and very carefully stuff the bird, using an extra breast or two if you want to make it look better. Cover the outside skin, with butter, some fresh rosemary, salt and pepper Roast on Hig heat maybe 425 for a little while, skin is brown and gorgeous, let it set up for a bit, then slice-- yummy Rosie |

There were so many posts I just marked them all as read. Why you would try to keep anyone from posting from AIOE is beyond me, but I don't care, I have plenty of free nntp accounts to use. AIOE's retention sucks too, compared with albisana and teranews. Monster is too new for me to tell yet. ** Posted from http://www.teranews.com ** |

Because I wrote them (aioe) about a persistent troller and included all his posts over the last 4-5 months. I'm thinking that's probably what triggered it. You look *really* pathetic, Steve...really, you oughta try getting some sort of life. What's really risible is that you complained about this troll, yet you've been known to do a good bit 'o trolling *yourself*... You look *mighty* foolish...and draping yourself in the cloak of self - righteousness simply does not "fit" you, darling. Anyways, cybercat , myself, and the others that once used aioe.org to post here extend a big hearty "thanks" to you for preventing us from posting via that server... [and no, I was not the person posting about "cooking my husband's penis", in fact I don't rightly remember any such posts, if I saw them I skipped over them...] Of course the *right* thing for you to do would be to contact aioe.org and attempt to "undo" the inconvenience you've inflicted on others...but of course we all know that you won't. -- Best Greg |

Very close to Mcdonalds headquarters. That's about 15 miles from where the cat was shot at. It's come up a few times and I've been telling her she's nuts for years. She said she hates to say she told me so, but she said it anyway. I just played the clip you posted and she walked in and said it again. I don't know if it's the same one she saw or how long they live. There's a lot of city between where she saw one and where it was shot. Freaky Lou |

Last year a coyote was down in the Loop and it walked into a Quizno's sub store and settled down to sleep in one of the coolers, lol. Animal control caught it and released it into the wild...apparently Chicago animal control catches about a dozen coyotes per year. In the rural area in Western Illannoy where I grew up they now have bobcats, they supposedly disappeared over 100 years ago... This kinda reminds me of those "Life After Man" shows that I've seen lately on the Discovery and National Geographic channels...how long for the animals to take over Chicago if man disappears...!!!??? -- Best Greg |

Some animal rights idjits have been decrying the shooting of the cougar. They apparently don't understand that this was not a big fuzzy kitty, but a killing machine that could attack you in a SECOND. They are very quick and don't stop to ponder that humans think they are cute...that's why the cop had to shoot when he felt threatened. This animal was also in the vicinity of a school... -- Best Greg |

That scene where the guy is walking down the street and silently this enormous cat just crosses behind him, wow. I don't know Roscoe from a hole in the ground, but I thought I heard you mention that area. Just my imagination, no doubt. At any rate, I do wish they would have been able to relocate it. I imagine arming all the cops with tranquilizer guns would be unrealistic, I know that. Sad just the same. >Last year a coyote was down in the Loop and it walked into a Quizno's >sub store and settled down to sleep in one of the coolers, lol. Apparently it would not take long for nature to re - establish itself, even in the concrete canyons of New York. Most all streets and roads would be covered in some sort of green within five years... The CGI animations on those shows of the Eiffel Tower, the Sears Tower, the Space Needle, and the Empire State Building eventually toppling are kinda neat to see... ;-) -- Best Greg |

It's amazing how many "wild" animals make their homes in even large cities. Raccoons, possum, fox, etc. We live in a small city with about 35K citizens and have had raccoons, possums, and even a deer and later a bobcat, come into our yard at night. We steer clear of them and they eventually move on. Used to have armadillos roaming around a lot but they evidently all got ran over by cars. A zillion gray squirrels lived around here until Hurricane Rita ate them and the trees they lived in. Only see one or two now and again and I'm not happy to see those. They decimate my fruit trees, steal tomatoes, etc. Our Rat Terrier enjoys them though, great fun chasing them around. She even knows the difference between squirrels and cats, leaves the cats alone. There are a few around here but they have not been a problem, people are slowly but surely driving the wildlife away.... sigh... Rosie |

I've been lurking chi.general and watching the news. If a 150 pound cat was under my porch I'd want it shot. This morning I heard they spotted one in Skokie. I wonder if they are kosher? <eg> As someone in chi.general said: "where there's one there's more." Lou |
