Well, so, how do we formally address trollops? "Christine, your
trollopship"?

Does that make me in the r.f.c trollops presence merely a troll?

TrollOPS. Like Charlie's angels or something?

Something is amiss here at r.f.c, like the cabal (TINC) that I've heard so
much about!

IIRC, this all started about 1998 when a thread about marriage
licenses drifted...and Dams was definitely one of the drifters.

Hmph! Please let the record show, that some trollops are self
supporting, and they have been known to support a stud muffin.

there's a story about randy newman, who had a couple sons and then a
daughter:

He is especially pleased that he now has a daughter, and repeated what
Lorne Michaels, the longtime director of ''Saturday Night Live,'' said
to him: that if he'd had the girl first, he would have thought the
boys were retarded.

Mr. Newman laughed. ''And he's right,'' he said. ''My daughter is so
much quicker, so sophisticated emotionally and able to slightly
manipulate her surroundings.''

My memory is kind of hazy, but didn't the Mounties (RCMP - Royal

Constable Tim Schewe, r.f.c.'s resident RCMP was around when I signed on
in about 1995. I don't *think* the Mounties had anything to do with the
trollops --- in a manner of speaking. :-)

Thanks for the background information! I didn't follow the thread
where the rfc Trollop was born... but I remember the rest. Later, her
scepter was a wooden spoon. Carol always had a way with words... how
else could she come up with her best moniker: Damsel-in-dis-dress?

Mounties were a completely different fantasy. Nancy was absolutely
ga-ga over them and Tammy was a Mounties groupie.... or was that
gropie? In any case, they liked men in uniform. LOL!

I didn't drift with the thread. Glad you stayed with it - so you can
provide history. Carol had a magnetic and dynamic personality (or
not) in rfc. She definitely went to many places as a drifter.

I mean too bad they aren't playing on my team! Both of them are in
LONG term relationships, just like me... so I know their basic values
are similar to mine. Men can be real jerks, but so can women - yet we
can learn to live together... in same sex or opposite sex
relationships.

Yes, the "mounties" discussion came first. From what I recall, Val
Stark and maryf had the hots for the mounties. My memory is not what it
used to be. My memory is not what it used to be.

but 'rocky and bullwinkle show' was Art! i remember watching it with
my dad and him laughing at stuff like 'the kirwood derby' and i had no
idea what they were talking about.

and this has nothing to do with bugs bunny being my favorite movie
star.

Yer both half right and half wrong <g> Nancy Dooley, Martha McLemore,
MaryF, Miche (others) and I used to trade smackdowns over Mounties.
Nancy and I were the last two left standing IIRC. Never did get a
Mountie <sniff!>

Sorry, Terry... old age, feeble mind.... 10+ years - my memory is
(half) kaput.

Well, there's Mountie and there's 'mountee.' "-)
(The devil came into my soul.) I told a guy at the Festival yesterday
that I was getting slap happy after 9 hours there (I'd made some sort of
smartass remark) and he said, "Ah, the dark side comes out." LOL!
Twelve hours today + 3 for travel and misc., eight hours tomorrow + 3.

I don't know *what* you're talking about <blink! blink! blink!>

Well, excuuuuse me, if I don't get out the tissues. We've been slammed
for *weeks*. This is the first weekend in about three months that I
haven't worked at least one day on a weekend, and Monday night I was
at the office from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. trying to get an
opposition, 3 declarations, a memorandum of contentions and a separate
statement of controverted issues all e-filed before midnight. I could
have gotten arrested going home for DWD - "driving while dazed." A
motion for summary judgment ran smack up against trial prep in another
case and I just want everything to go away!!!

OB: I am learning to hate Subway, as it's the closest fast food to the
office other than the building's ptomaine palace, which is the only
"restaurant" I've ever seen mess up a toasted cheese sammidge.
