And you'll be wearing your pickle hat all week to show your support,
right? While you sleep, in the shower, during whoopie... Don't let
us down!

Why... of course! One needs time to get oneself properly pickled.

Gloria gave me a wee pickle pin. I believe I'll put it on my shirt. It
will complement my hat nicely. I need some earrings, though! Damn!

There might be one in that box at your mother's. I don't remember if I
sent a couple.

I just found out today that Miz Anne, aka "Grannie Annie" gave our
pickle hats to the great grands. Bah! Humbug! I was going to wear mine
to the barbershop today to see if any of the other Old Farts knew it was
National Pickle Week.

In honor of said week I am having homemade sweet and dill pickles with
my lunch sammich.

Somehow I lost the ones that Barb gave David and me. We had them until we
moved to this house and there are a few things that simply seem to be gone.

Huh. She didn't mention a hat. Would be just like her to run around

Great, here goes the phone call: Mom, did you get a pickle hat in the mail?
What are you talking about? Um, a pickle hat. Remember the glass grape jar
and the jam? Yes. Was there a pickle hat in the box? WTF is a pickle hat?

Mmmm...

I know, they are probably the worst things to eat, but I can never
pass up scooping up a pickle out of the white barrell in the Deli
section of the supermarket. Who knows how long it's been sitting there
but thank god for preservatives! lol

Note that my added line rhymed and was in the same meter? Perhaps you

This from a pickle hat wearer.
