Yeah, I like olives as a topping for my favorite pizza. Lots and lots
of olives and crushed pepper. Meatball and olives is good too. If I
had any leftover meatballs I might have added a few slices/chunks.

My husband had anchovy and black olives.

I took Sheldon's advice (and other's) to use uncooked tomatoes and it
was really much better than using a cooked sauce. Go figure. I learned
something on RFC.

I do like a fresh tomato, feta and black olive pizza on occasion. Ham
and pineapple is really good too once in awhile.

I also like Bertucci's chicken marengo and their quattro something or
other....

Very rarely will I have a meat pizza with sausage or pepperoni.

I have been saying that so long and being ignored I just quit. Canned
tomatoes squished through your fingers is better than fresh even. Most of
my faves have no tomatoes.

I just stocked up on cheap frozen one-serving pizzas, because the market
had them on sale at $1US apiece (four mainstream varieties; no limit).
They're not going to win any prizes, but they're a heck of a nice
three-minute (microwave, with the included crisper disk) one-dollar snack.

White pizza with garlic and spinach.
Plain pizza with tomato slices, herbs and mozzarella.
White pizza with onion and cheese.
The one with the egg baked on top of the centre.

I'd go for that with pesto sauce, which hardly makes it a white pizza.

That's it! That would be the Underpacific Meat-Eaters Special.

(Actually, it was a frozen pie-for-one that was on a two-fer the other day.)

Those Aleppo chile flakes are a unique and yummy treat, though it's
never occurred to me to put them on pizza.

If I make it myself at home, I love using Italian sausage. Italian sausage
on commercial pizza has been vile to my taste for the past 40 years.

Otherwise, I like Italian sausce, green pepper, onion, garlic, pepperoni
(if I cook it crisp), and sometimes anchovies.

Having said that, I'll eat almost anything offered on a pizza.

HH,

Bacon and onion... Hmmm... I'll try that when I'm over diabetes, HBP, and
gout.

For my pepperoni/sausage pizza it was delicious going down but then I paid
twice the price afterwards!

Best,

Andy
Stupid Jerk!

Stupid pizza!!!! A torture device, but admittedly the best fast food there
is (unscientifically proven, of course). It'll fatten you up right quick,
no study needed to prove that!

I'll have to agree with you there! I can handle the sausage, but pepperoni
does me in. If I can only have one topping, I'd forgo the bacon in
preference for the sweet onion rings. They get even sweeter when baked
atop a thin St Louis style crust. I could eat an XL Stefanina's pizza right
now just thinking about it. Damn you! Gas is too expensive. pfft.

HH,

I've concluded there are just too damn many pizzas in the world that I
can't get to try, but there's probably some great pizzas in some form on
all continents.

I surely wouldn't mind sitting down with Chatty Cathy & 2D Jack in South
Africa for whatever version pizzas. I'd pay for the privilege and the
pizzas and the ammo!

Nah, I just love shrimp. My second favorite pizza is bacon and egg. Had it
years ago in LA and I make it fairly regularly now. Totally awesome.

Paul,

Are we talking bay shrimp or bigger shrimp pizza?

I can't grasp a bacon and egg pizza. Omelette, yeah I can do that.

I'd certainly try a bacon and egg pizza if you made it!

I use the 21 count or bigger. Fresh is best, frozen works so long as you
completely defrost them and then let them sit on paper towels to draw out
the excess water. Excess water will ruin the pizza. I go a layer of
mozzarella and some provolone then sauce then shrimp, garlic on top of that
then grated parmesan and Romano then the parsley. A little dried basil
works nicely too.

>
> I can't grasp a bacon and egg pizza. Omelette, yeah I can do that.

It rocks. The secret is a screaming hot oven and a hot stone. Must be
cooked fast. Lay the cheese down, but don't grate it, use the food
processor to turn it into a gravel like consistency. Then make little
pockets, drop in a raw egg and sprinkle with chopped bacon and parmesan and
a touch of salt. It works best if the crust is not so thin and not cooked
crisp, keep it a bit soft..
