HH,

Bacon and onion... Hmmm... I'll try that when I'm over diabetes, HBP, and
gout.

For my pepperoni/sausage pizza it was delicious going down but then I paid
twice the price afterwards!

Best,

Andy
Stupid Jerk!

Stupid pizza!!!! A torture device, but admittedly the best fast food there
is (unscientifically proven, of course). It'll fatten you up right quick,
no study needed to prove that!

I'll have to agree with you there! I can handle the sausage, but pepperoni
does me in. If I can only have one topping, I'd forgo the bacon in
preference for the sweet onion rings. They get even sweeter when baked
atop a thin St Louis style crust. I could eat an XL Stefanina's pizza right
now just thinking about it. Damn you! Gas is too expensive. pfft.

HH,

I've concluded there are just too damn many pizzas in the world that I
can't get to try, but there's probably some great pizzas in some form on
all continents.

I surely wouldn't mind sitting down with Chatty Cathy & 2D Jack in South
Africa for whatever version pizzas. I'd pay for the privilege and the
pizzas and the ammo!

Andy

PROCESS CHEESE.

Sorry Bryan, but I love that stuff! :-D Sticks to the teeth. It's like
white Velveeta on pizza.

For lunch today I had some leftover pizza from the local place,
Pirrone's. It was St. Louis style with provel.

It is exactly like that.

I think it's funny, what it says on Wikipedia:
"Critics argue its processed method of production and flavor make its
relation to other cheeses analogous to Chipped beef's relation to
steak."
--source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provel

Anyway, you're welcome to my share, and you can have all the fried
baloney with process American on Wonder-type bread too.

And brain sandwiches, though I have to confess that I've never ever
tried those.

You know I love our city, and even some of the unique stuff like pork
"butt" steaks with Maull's, but "Provel" is an awful thing to do to
lovely provolone, and innocent (if inappropriate for pizza) American
Cheddar and Swiss.

Again, Wikipedia:

Yum!!!! Do you ever try Stefanina's? I'm 90 miles from you, but that's
one place we usually stop when in STL. I will look up Pirrone's for our
next trip to the city, if it's not too out of the way.

I haven't tried that.

It's up in Florissant, the northern suburbs. Might be inconvenient,
depending on where you normally stay.
