My Halloween Party Menu
 
Hi all I'm having my first every halloween party and there's going to be 40
people comming (20 adults and 20 kids).

Here's my Halloween Party Menu, can you tell me if I need to add or omit
some foods?

Tostitos Cheese
Tapenade w/ croustini
Crab dip w/ crackers
Phyllo spinach triangles (I made these)
Spring rolls with plum sauce (I made these)
Red pepper dip w/ crackers
Artichoke dip
Spinach dip in bread bowl or hallowed out pumpkin
Hummus
Pita chips seasoned (I'm going to make)
Green olives stuffed with pimento
Pogo minis (for the kiddies)
Mixed nuts & Pretzels
Popcorn

Fruit Platter & amaretto dip
Witch's hat cookies (very easy to make)
Mini Spider Cupcakes
Witch cake
Witch fingers cookies (made these already)
Mini Pecan tarts (made these already)
brain cookies - Emeril's recipe
Pillsbury chocolate GHOST cookies
Small Assortment of Halloween candy in candy dishes

Drinks NON -Alcohol - Apple juice, Orange juice, Ginger ale, Coke,
mineral water, Bug juice punch (with spider ice cubes & ice hands)

Alcohol
Vodka, Rum, Gin etc

You must have a lot of time because this is going to take a lot of it to
pull off. Just me, but I'd cut this menu in half.

Well, you've got sugar, fat and carbs covered. How about something in
the meat and vegetable categories? Some carrot or celery sticks for the
dip, or sliced cucumber? What about a plate of sliced pepperoni or cubed
ham chunks with cheese?

Unless you are making small amounts I think you've got twice as much
food as you need, especially as a lot of it is crackers, chips and
cookies, which fill people up pretty fast.
