Default New Saucepan Wahooo!!!!

I was in Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday and happened upon the sale
rack. Right there on the top shelf was this 3.5 qt sauce pan with lid
beckoning me.

I really like that it is tall and deep and has two pour spouts.

$14.98 because it has a couple of little dents.

I love the lid, it has two different sized holes for draining.

SCORE!!!!!!!!!

And it's right-handed only.

Good luck getting that sticker off! I have an Calphalon pan that
Macy's put a sale tag on the bottom - 12 years ago - and you can
still see where the sticker was.

And, indeed, you could cook a wahoo in it.

:-)

At least I'm not the only bargain hunter around :-)

*Nice* pan, love the look of those.

I love it when you find those 'scores'.

My last one was a whole Pancetta (2.1kgs)........ it retailed at about
$26kg.

The supermarket had one sitting in the deli bay with a tag on it that
said $5.

Now....... you *couldn't* pass up a score like that, could you?

The girl behind the counter got this ****ed off look on her face when I
handed it back over the counter and asked her to slice it...... very
thinly (for free!!) :-)

Gave about 500g away to friends....... and froze the rest.

Had a brunch with the visiting BIL a few days ago........ parmesan
ciabatta with pan fried/seared roma tomatos and fried pancetta. Along
with a couple of Becks (beers)...... it was *beeeeeeewdiful*!!

It's off with no problem. I'd send a photo of the bottom but right now
it has potato soup in it.

I just put a soapy hot dish cloth on the sticker and let it set for a
whlie then rubbed it right off.

WD 40 has a pen, kinda like the Tide pen, I've used that on tough to
remove stickers, works like a charm.

done with a smile.

"Goo-Gone" or "De-Solve-It" are products specifically made for removing
labels. Also, a hair dryer blowing on the sticker will very often soften
the glue so it can be removed. Hair dryers are the best way to remove
bumper stickers.

Texas Janet who's DH still insists on keeping the 'Kinky for Governor'
stickers on his car.
