The Colonel's original recipe batter is more spicy than the chipotle
stuff.

I have been pleasantly surprised by their chicken pot pies. Variable quality,
but on average, damn good for the price...

Isn't there about 2,000 fat calories in a box of that stuff?

I like them too, but then I looked up the fat content ... enough fat for 2
or 3 days. Now I can't bring myself to eat one.

I got a 10 piece box with the potatoes/slaw/biscuits and ate on it for
three meals (kids and I). The kids even ate it if that's any
indication of the chipolte content.

Here's how my husband and I put it:

Taste is a chemical reaction. Like most chemical reactions,
it proceeds faster at higher temperatures. In this case,
that's not a good thing.

Chock full of partially hydrogenated oils. Yum! Brands likes to fu(k
you in the arteries, splooging a sizable load of LDL cholesterol.

Or could it simply be a worn out sphinter valve?

Getting back on topic, I tasted the Crispy Chipotle Chicken last week,
and yes, I noted that there was really not much difference between it,
and thier regular Crispy Chicken, other than a slightly more "orange"
color.

I guess they have to make the product "marketable", and cannot get too
crazy with spices, and heat.

Not bad, but I still used to like Popeyes much better for Crispy
Chicken. Haven't had Popeyes in years, we have one on an Air Force
Base, that's it in the area. Popeyes spicy I remember used to have a
pretty decent "kick" to it. Mark
