Rotisserie Oven For Sale - $25

Ronco Jr. Model 2500 Showtime Rotisserie & BBQ Oven for sale. It
comes with the original BBQ gloves, the spit loading base, dip tray,
grate cover, gear wheels with spit rods, the standard compact
rotisserie basket, and the original instruction and recipe booklet. It
works great and makes delicious food.

i'm not sure if your question is whether to buy it or not, but sure,
it's a good price. a lot of people like the chicken it can turn out.

I always envisioned them as a PITA to clean. Also I think it would cook
faster if the heating coils were on the bottom.

OP didn't say if it was new or used.

We have one (have had for over ten years) and are very happy with it. It's
actually pretty easy to clean: the heat reflector, rotisserie, spitrods,
and
drip tray go in the dish washer; so does the front opening cover. Just wipe
out what's left.

Can't put the heating coils on the bottom without some additional
engineering
since juices fall to the bottom and could flare unless there's some sort of
removal mechanism.

$25 is a good price (we paid $160 for an earlier model 10 years ago) if
you'll
use it. If you won't use it, it's a bad deal regardless of the price.

I'm sure many here have things in our cabinets that were "good deals"
that don't get used. We just cleaned out things and sold a bunch of
stuff and got a couple hundred bucks on eBay. I had a bunch of copper
mixing bowls that still had the price tags on them. The receipt was
from 2001. I have no idea what inspired me to buy them.

I had a Ronco rotisserie also. It was a gift and I used it a few
times. The product is good and cleanup isn't too bad. The spun
chicken product was very good. But it just wasn't worth the storage
space. I got 20 bucks for it at a garage sale a few years ago and
I've never missed it.
