Default Cheater's Dinner Tonight

I didn't really want to cook tonight, nor did I have much time, so put this
together. It was actually pretty tasty.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Bake

1 can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 cup water
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain rice
1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 large skinless, boneless chicken breast

Cut chicken breast into bite sized pieces and set aside.

Combine all remaining ingredients, then stir in chicken pieces.

Turn mixture into shallow 2-quart baking dish that has been coated with
non-stick spray. Cover dish tightly with foil and baked 45 m inutes at
375°F. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Note: This is a variation on one of Campbell's rcipes.

We had this along with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet onions,
drizzled with olive oil, wine vinegar, and fresh chopped basil.

Had to go to my aunt's funeral today 90 miles away. When I got back I only
had a half hour to grab something to eat before I changed my shirt, put my
suit jacket back on and went to Synagogue to be inducted as president of my
Men's Club chapter.

Put together a mixed greens salad and dumped a can of sardines on top,
crumbled some gorgonzola on it and mixed up a quick vinaigrette, Had some
pita chips on the side and some homemade peppermint ice tea.

Pretty satisfying dinner.
