Default Sod the Salmonella! :)

Bought some round red tomatoes this week. No idea where they were grown
or processed and didn't care one whit.

Washed them carefully, cut them up...and fried them in hot oil to add to
my fried rice (along with some mild green chiles and onion) LOL.

Nothing wrong with risk-taking but there are limits

Sounds delish! Cooking kills salmonella anyway, so I'm sure that's

It was good enough for an act of defiance. The rest of the tomatoes went
into a chile sauce for nachos this evening.
