Food & flashlights. 2 things that I take interest in more than what would
be considered "average."

Just so happens that on a forum devoted to flashlights one of the members
started an fireball of a thread posting pictures of what he cooked almost
every day. He's an airline mechanic and the crew he's on operates like a
fire station in that one guy usually takes up cooking duties.

I must say if I'd ever go into aviation mechanics this would be the guy to
work with.

Here's the beginning of the "Food Pictures" thread. Hope you enjoy.

Is that adorable Rottie with the blue cellphone yours? It looks just
like my long gone girl, Lady.

I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond.

Not mine. I've got an 11 yr. old English Bulldog that is only jsut
starting to show his age.

It's was/is a fun thread with a bunch of food lovers. People often ask
why such interest in lights. Just as we all have to eat we all are
exposed to darkness 50% of the year, and while some of us eat food while
some of us are obsessed with trying new things and the quest for the
perfect dish them same is true for the hardcore flashlight nuts.

While we easily spend hundred of $$$ on lights most folks think that's
crazy. On the same note I don't mind paying top $$$ for Sherry Vinegar,
Balsamics, truffles, saffron etc. You get what you pay for and in the
case of food you are what you eat.
