Oh my gosh Lou, you have been here all this time and haven't heard
about chat? You haven't seen us posting that we are chatting?

We have several regulars that chat..but we are always interested in
seeing new faces.

There is a web based link there, that a lot of folks use.

I'm sure you all have fun, but that's not for me. I suspect chat had
something to do with Sheryl and Martha spilling too much of their guts
which turned into personal flame wars here. You might notice I have
no valid mail address in my headers. I'd rather keep my affairs short
and sweet, and right here in RFC (or whatever group I'm reading)

Not really.

We had a great time last night, later at night. Modom joined us, as
well as Lin (of Bob Terwilliger and Lin), as well as a few other rfc
regulars. We were talking about the fresh lard I got at the new
Mexican megamart here in town, plus modom's homecured bacon, and his
prosciutto. Then we started talking about the idea of renting a place
in Italy in a year or so, for a few months during the summer, with a
bunch of rfc'ers. It was a great discussion...

You would be another reason I won't go there.

Yup, when I was initially friendly with Sheryl and Martha they'd send me
unsolicited emails slandering other posters, chiding me for my interactions
with posters they didn't like, etc. So I can just imagine what went on in
chat. That's one reason I don't ever care to join in, I don't like "secret
clubs". It's enough for me that some of my antics here have probably been
discussed there, lol...

Yep, and I spend enough time on Usenet and listservs anyways, I don't need
still *another* layer of internet "interaction"...

LOL past my bedtime. These days I'm not allowed to sleep past about 5
AM...late night chat just doesn't do it. If people would come into chat
earlier, I would be there more. Or else on Sunday afteroon/early
evening.

And why am I inviting you over *here* anyway LOL. It's your turn to feed
me. Email or phone me.

Went to Ranch on Thursday. Had to get my mother out of there; too
crowded for her safety. Great looking place and they have those
fantastic huge sheets of chicharrones! And pink sweet masa. Plus our
beloved Bimbo bread (I'm not casting aspersions on the bread; that's its
name). Passed on the calf's head though

Will give the fuss time to die down and go again.
