I see where you're coming from. No, I've never been obsessed with food
or cooking. I'm competent, and I enjoy food. But my larger interests
are computers and computing stuff (I'm a nerd from childhood, and a
math/science type from school), history, photography, and a good laugh.

I don't remember how I discovered rfc. It's one of twenty newsgroups I do
every day. Fourteen of them are technical in nature.

I'm never going to make a 27-ingredient, 13-step, 7-pan meal.
