I don't know how it started out. When I was young I loved them with vodka, and Stoli was my brand of choice. I thought gin tasted like turpentine. In my mid 30's somehow I tried some Bombay Sapphire and I knew I had found a new vice. I still like vodka, but gin is my preference. Lou |

Basically, I can't stand the smell or taste of vodka on its own.
