Is this the new negro version of Rachel Ray? They sure look and act
very similar.

I don't usually watch FoodTV (let alone post about it), but I just
happened to flip by it. I was staring at her cleavage thinking
Rachel must have got a boob job, and didn't even know it wasn't
Rachel until after the commercial break.

You can see video on her FTV home page:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_re

Looks like they've only shown 4 of her 6 episodes so far.

I have no idea. I missed her 10:30 show, but it sounds like the one
called "How'd That Get On My Plate?" could double for a social studies
unit called From Farm to Table. The concept is very interesting, but
better suited for the Discovery Channel.

I wonder where they find these new "stars?" The Neelys are awful, and
now they're going on the road, as if THAT hasn't been done to death
already.

LOL... I have only seen them once and thought them precious. As in
really cute. Not "aren't they horrible?" precious. I just liked 'em.

I've been watching HGTV's Next Design Star show and am pretty appalled
by the tantrums, pouting, mean spirited bitchiness of the contestants. I
keep wondering whose going to want to watch ANY of them should they win?

Have you seen the Next Food TV Star? There is one on there I would love
nothing more than to strangle just to get her to stop talking about how
wonderful she is........I would like one of the judges to ask if she took
her 'style' from Star Trek........she keeps talking about the need to be
able to cook in heels and haute couture while her hair looks like she is a
Vulcan ala Mr. Spock.

Yes! I saw that show once. She's trying too hard to sell her "image" up,
but it just looks out of place in the kitchen, IMO.

Well, the winner last year was a very nice unbitchy person, and I
think I've watched her show only once. She just wasn't very appealing
in her design ideas.
