Default Dinner tonight

Marinated chicken thighs in whole-milk yogurt and red curry paste for
about an hour. Baked them for a little over an hour at 350F. Since I was
using the oven anyway, I also baked the rice (1 cup rice, 2 cups boiling
water, dash salt, bit of butter, some chopped onion and jalapeno; cover
and bake for an hour), and roasted some small whole carrots we got in
the organic box (tossed with olive oil and salt first, in the oven for
the final 30-40 minutes).

It was a very good dinner. Not exceptionally colorful, but still, good.

Dinner tonight is going to be grilled pork butt steaks. I mixed up an
excess of a 5 spice orange peel rub for the meat I am going to smoke on
Canada Day which I will also rub on the butt steaks. Grilled asparagus to
go with the pork steaks.
