Default Dessert nee brakfast...

This morning I ventured out into the mild, breezy day and headed for the
Farmer's Market in Hillcrest. An hour later, I returned with white and
yellow nectarines, Santa Rosa and Laroda plums, bing and ranier cherries,
apriums, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, artichokes,
and the coolest cucumber I've ever seen. The cuke was about 2 1/2 feet long,
with striped pale and dark green skin, and I was told it was an Armenian
cuke...but I digress.

Coming home with my treasure, I knew I had to have some waffles to put all
those berries on. I made vanilla bean waffles, some with a few mini chips in
them at my daughter's request. I combined the strawberries, blackberries and
raspberries with a sprinkle of vanilla sugar, and just before serving, I
tossed in a few blueberries for good measure. Breakfast was rounded out with
some scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa, and tea & coffee.

Tonight, my husband was in the mood for something sweet, and I remembered
the leftover berries from breakfast in the fridge...Sunday Sundaes! All
those lusious berries over vanilla bean gelato. Yummmm!

Sometimes, I do like leftovers! lol

Thought about the brevity of this later in the day. No offense, I did not
mean to sound so cold, just short on time.

I saw another CA person write the same thing and wondered if you guys might
have bought from the same vendor.
