My dang was in reference to how great it looks as in "Dang Lou, that
looks great"
I hadn't read the other posts which wouldn't keep me from my opinion
anyway.

Thanks Koko. I made a stir fry, and some rice made with a saffron
mix I got from World Market. I forgot to get a plated shot, but it
was a wonderful meal. I need to get back to World Market for more of
that mix!

He uses S/S which isn't anywhere near as good for frying.

Thanks Blake. After that meal it was hard to follow up the rest of
the weekend.

The pancetta was definitely a top notch item, while the prosciutto didn't
give the bang dor the bucks.

The best way to try cinta senese is to find a good butcher and taste theyr
braciole (pork chops), salsicce (sausages) and prosciutto (ham). There's a
very good butcher in western Tuscany whose braciole need to be booked or
you'll never see one, but I can't remember his name now.
Is there any slow-food group where you'r elocated? They may help, I got to
know this butcher thanks to theyr "Citta' slow" festival in Felina, 30 km
from here, a couple if years ago.

Found it!
Macelleria Sergio Falaschi – SAN MINIATO

Via A. Conti - San Miniato (PI) – tel. 0571 43190

Salumi di cinta senese, gastronomia tipica toscana

This is a very good butcher and charcutier, try to grab one of his braciole
and you'll forget any other pork you had before

Probably saffron. Hubby occasionally buys me rather posh tea as well, but I
don't think it beats the saffron.
