Kemeri ( candle nuts ) are available via online stores ( like
Indonesianfoodmart.com ) Please do not compare them to macademia nuts or others, kemiri nuts are different, if eaten raw you could get really sick, there is a substance in it which is a bit poisoness if not cooked, it is used in the Indo kitchen to thicken sauces. Irma |

That reminds me of the herb and spice sections of many Mexican food stores -- they shelve culinary herbs right next to folk medicine herbs, often made and packaged by the same company, some of which are quite dangerous if used as culinary herbs by the unwary. Arnica is a particularly good example of this hazard. |
