Smoked Spanish Paprika--available at Penzey's among other places.

A Middle Eastern Spice b;end--at least that is the kind *I* use.
The name is also used for ?thyme? somwetimes, IIRC.

Tart berry, used in Middle Eastern cooking, also added to the
zatar blend. Also available from Penzey's. I rather like their
blend--although I also have access to many Middle Eastern stores,
with their own blends.

Jean B,

Home style. Leaning towards meat and potatoes and bagged salad & dressing.

I'm comfortable with ANY cuisine! Just can't cook it and/or haven't tasted
as much as I'd like to, where it originates from.

Best,

Do you like the TJ's brand veggie burgers/sausage? I bought the burgers and
found them pretty bad. I was wondering if the sausage was any better.

I believe the MSF has egg product in it

Woolstitcher,

I'll ask at my TJ's. I know state-by-state products vary.

Thanks,

Andy

Two cups of hazelnut coffee with sugar and soy milk, half a bagel with onion
& chive cream cheese (left from my 5 yo's breakfast), and a banana.

Mary,

I guess if you're out there somewhere in the world it's OK, but if you're
my neighborhood (Philadelphia), you're a little late for breakfas.

Blinky has the same problem. He can't stay still.

Well, adding interesting seasonings to your eggs (or potatoes or
meat) might be right up your alley! :-)

I would say the Morningstar breakfast sausage is a little better,
taste-wise, but if you're avoiding commercial egg ingredients
then you may want the TJ's breakfast sausage.

For veggie burgers, I prefer Praeger's, also sold at TJ's.
They have a bunch of products but two good ones are the
California Burger, and the Southwestern Burger.

The only problem with that Praeger burgers is they are pretty
low protein. A Boca Burger has way more protein, if that is
a consideration.

of Trader Joes products! (www.traderjoes.com)

Wayne,

BTW, I might add that my favorite pies are apple, keylime, pizza and pumpkin.

Mom never served up cherry pie, nor any pie, for that matter!

I'm not a big fan of Boca. I'll buy them of it's the only thing is stock.
They just always seem a little off to me.
This morning I'm having a veggie sausage patty w/ salsa and strawberries on
the side.

Did you yearn for pie? I generally had a birthday pie instead of

Jean B,

Only pie that ever set foot on our table was Thanksgiving pies that
relatives brought over as contributions for the occasion.
