Not today, but when I have my Cheerios, I have them with fat-free half and
half. I can't stand skim milk.

There is, indeed, and it beats the hell out of skim milk when used on
cereal or in cooking. We buy a local brand because it's less expensive and
just as good, but Land o' Lakes is the largest national brand, I believe.
It's usually found right next to the regular half and half in the cooler.

Cheerios and 2% milk, with a handful of walnuts and a banana.

Yep, around 6 am EDT.

Zucchine-Bran bread, a recipe that was right the first time I wrote it. Six
tasters on the first loaf and yep, that will do. With a slice of Fontina
and a cup of really dark coffee.

I've been thinking about buying Honey Nut Cheerios, to be honest. I haven't
had them since I was about........20? I just want them to eat as a snack
(no milk) and I know my pet rats would adore them. I think a box is on sale
this week at Winn-Dixie for $2.50. Time to pick up a box!

Watermelon. Sweet, deep red, thirst-quenching, heavenly watermelon. I am
thinking about a ham and cheddar and tomato omelet for lunch, too.

I ashamed to say this, but... Lean Cuisine Garlic Chicken (w/ a
spinach side) and Indian spicy red pepper cashews. I couldn't
think of what I wanted to have--probably a mini cheesecake with
berries, but I obviously couldn't whip that up in time for brekky.

(Anyone seen a microwave, single-serve cheesecake recipe--or, even
better, does anyone have a tnt one?)

Have you been spying on me?????

If so, you got it wrong! It was cheerios with 1% milk and some fresh
blueberries, blackberries and raspberries.

Usually corn starch, carageenan, guar gum and/or xanthan gum
along with nonfat milk. Starch-thickened milk, in other words,
processed with an agglomulator machine so that it stays
in suspension for weeks without separating.

If you dislike processed foods this is not the product
for you. It is however nutritionally harmless.

This was a small dinner. I have no qualms about mixing up my
meals. It's just that this was a kind-of junky frozen meal, and I
don't like eating them.

Ugh. But then I had that frozen thing for brekky--not even
scrutinized beyond the fact that it was LC.

Jean, I'm not at home right now and don't have a carton available. I do
know that it's nothing like the "coffee creamers" that have been around for
a long time. It's also relatively low in calories, too.

What it makes me think is that I cannot afford to consume the amount of fat
or calories in half and half cream. If I want the consistency and flavor
that is very close to real stuff, I will continue to use the fat free half
and half.

If I believed everything I read about what I should consume, I would
certainly starve to death.

Gawd, I just got up and haven't even had my first cup of tea for the
morning.

I've had five hours' sleep -- went to a rock concert last night. And if
I can hold my own amongst the kids at 4' 11" and 39 years of age,
anybody can!
