I looked at the previous thread but all the latest chat seems to be
about religion.

Did I miss a current update on Jill?

Please advise.

Night before last she was to have her first food, albeit some liquid
concoction. Depending on how that goes, they'll know how
she's doing. I haven't heard from her yet, I'll post an update.

I haven't spoken to her! I hate to call and risk waking her up,
that already happened once. Maybe I'll call her later after I get
home, 2 or so. Maybe.

Okay, she gave me a call to say she's been allowed to eat
real food, hooray. Honest to goodness turkey. Soup. And
she has a dessert, chocolate cream pie! But, Andy, she says
she can't eat pizza!! That would do her in.

She'll still be in there for a few days. She wanted me to tell you
all thanks for all the well wishes, she really appreciates it.

Ahem. I meant that I'm glad she is now able to eat some solid food at
least... even if it *is* hospital food ;-)

I understood exactly what you meant, because I felt the same way,
things are better than I was even hoping for, though not as if she's
going to hop up, All Better!, it's not that simple, but she's doing well.

Let's hope she can get out of hospital sooner rather than later - and thanks
again for keeping in touch with her and letting the rest us of know how
she's doing.

Glad to hear that she is doing much better! I have been keeping RPCA up
to date with this as well. They and myself are still wishing the best
for her.
