Default food processor

Hi there I just moved to the US from Italy.

I am about to build up the equipment for my kitchen... now I need a good
food processor/mixer. At the moment I was interested in something like
this that I used in Europe:

https://www.kenwoodworld.com/it/prod...at=1498&id=770
or
https://www.kenwoodworld.com/ee/prod...ail.php?id=129

I've been told that Kenwood is similar to "Kitchenaid" but I am not
sure, nor I know if kitchenaid is a good brand or not. I am not looking
for something to process a lot of "dough" work as of now. What is your
advice?

Thank you
Alessio

I've had a Kitchenaid stand mixer for 35 years and have always enjoyed
using it. I have a Cuisinart and a Hamilton Beach food processor and like
them both equally.

If I were to buy a new stand mixer today, however, I would probably opt for
a Viking. I don't think currert Kichenaid mixers are made to the same
standards they werer 35 years ago.

Viking...

I think Kitchenaid mixers are dinosaurs. I have two and wouldn't recommend
them.

Their customer service is excellent. After X years you end up replacing the
bowl. They're available locally in larger metropolitan areas. The motor
lasts forever.

This is the is the original brand of food processor...
http://www.cuisinart.com/catalog/pro...id=46&cat_id=7
It's very expensive but good if you desire quality...
