Default Lemon bars

This past Saturday I made "Bakesale Betty's Lemon Bars" - the recipe for
which was posted a while back by Charlotte Blackmer.
Let me just say - they are fantastic. Especially if you really like lemon.

The recipe makes a ton so I gave some away to my neighbor.

I was making another batch of limoncello - and I decided to use the
juice for the bars.

so you used lemon zest?

"3 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest, or equivalent lemon oil
(Boyajian or similar, not "lemon extract" from the baking aisle)"

I can't imagine that little giving a big lemony punch to the filling.

I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond.

I used zest and juice. I had 13 lemons. I used 12 lemons for the
limoncello. I used the juice from those = which gave up a little bit
more than a cup of juice. I needed one cup. I had the extra lemon for
the zest.

Really lemony. Really good.
