My grandmother was making sweet 'tater fries way back when I was less than a
yard tall. I was really disappointed when I found restaurants, and all the
fries were the other kind.

If you want to make 'em yourself, just use sweet 'taters instead of those
Ida-ho ones and cut and cook exactly the same.

When we were kids, we would snitch a few slices of raw sweet potatoes
that were cut up and ready to fry. My mother would catch us, and as we
scattered, she would shout behind us, "Eating those will make you get
worms!"
