Orlando, my friend, who the hell are you? You make entirely too much
sense for this group. Serious. Lunch is on me if you ever get to the Twin Cities. -- -Barb, Mother Superior, HOSSSPoJ http://web.mac.com/barbschaller , blahblahblog is back and is being updated quite regularly now. We're all about "me me me" and to read his/her (I'm guessing his) possible solutions, I have some hope for the world. Color me cynical. |

Supper tonight was a roast chicken (vertical roaster, beer can variety but none involved tonight), smashed new potatoes, coleslaw from scratch, and green beans. I sprinkled a bunch of Penzeys BBQ 3000 seasoning on it and was underwhelmed with it. I was going to put some cuke into the slaw but I ate the cucumber while I was shredding the cabbage. Damn! I love when that happens! > It's very refreshing these days. We're all about "me me me" and to > read his/her (I'm guessing his) possible solutions, I have some hope > for the world. That's good because hope is the missing component in the lives of the folks who have given up. If you don't have a deep-inside sense of hope about things being different it's easy to give up on life and just exist. http://www.kare11.com/news/news_arti...storyid=519872 I've known Amy since she was five. Her situation makes most of ours look like a cakewalk. > Color me cynical. I actually figured we'll have lunch out if you ever get this way. There's a small Vietnamese restaurant near us and Tony there makes fine banh mi. Tonight's roasted chicken was great; I have to remember to use both breast halves this week. I wound up tossing half of one last week. Chicken salad is a possibility. -- -Barb, Mother Superior, HOSSSPoJ http://web.mac.com/barbschaller , blahblahblog is back and is being updated quite regularly now. I eat the dark meat, then I have white meat leftover. I will use the white meat in chicken salad, lettuce wraps, or I will make the Vietnamese soup, Pho Ga. Becca |

We KNOW where the things are here, but her dad likes to move things around unbidden. This obviously creates problems--that would be moreso for you. -- Jean B. |
