Ack! Maybe you remember but my old dog died on September 24, 2007. She
was 11.5 years old, had been with us since she was four months old. She
quit eating and exploratory surgery showed she had cancer of the
stomach, pancreas, and liver, all fully involved. We didn't wake her up
from the surgery. She was cremated and guards our gardens from under the
plum tree she used to lie under and watch us work. About broke our hearts.

Several weeks later we got a new rat terrier puppy, also four months
old, she's over a year now and is developing into a very good dog. We're
pleased with her.
