So... if you ever placed an advert on a dating site it might look
something like this:

I'm a foodie that's into low-carbing and I give foods that contain
gluten a miss. I also enjoy going on sea cruises, doing some scuba
diving in the nude (if my sinuses are up to it) and I love to gamble
too....

I did, too, but I don't consider myself "belonging" to most of the
groups I subscribe to. Just one of the fifteen, actually.

True. rfc is the busiest of the groups I subscribe to. And some of the
fifteen are all but dead, but I've been there so long that I still watch
to see if there will be any activity, even though I know there rarely is.

I had a theory concerning who chose that alternative. You shot my theory
down. Of course, had I been correct, the person I had in mind would
probably not have "confessed."

Over in alt.fan.cecil-adams, one of the regulars has published several
low-carb cookbooks. Her name is Dana Carpender, if that rings a bell.

Ditto for me. I tried making croissants a couple of years ago. They
sucked. You are almost inspiring me to give it another try!

I read and /or post from time to time. It depends on how busy I am,
the subjects, what kind of mood I am in, and the phases of the moon.
Sometimes I may read and post every day,, sometimes not for awhile.

I hear ya - I read the ng most days, but post in direct proportion to
my work load, header interest, cooking successes/failures and mood.
Since I've been On The Road with The Kid, I've been downloading the
ng in the morning before we leave the hotel, reading/responding en
route and uploading/downloading again that night. Whiles the miles
away while On The Road and has reminded me that headers need
investigation periodically even when the headers don't necessarily
interest me. Thread Drift might perk up the thread <g>
