Yeah, I should have specified; I don't blanch mine either. I just sautee
it.

I'd offer to list mine, but it would be a huge project to do so!

I am trying to remember whether I carted some items here when we
moved almost 10 years ago. Quite possibly. That is bad. I guess
that unless something is almost impossible to get or worth its
weight in gold, I will do something about this in the fairly near
future.

For 2

2-4 zucchini depending on size, sliced thinly
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 lb ground beef
clove of garlic with paper left on
salt and pepper
fresh herbs.. oregano for me
2-3 slices of bread torn into crumbs
optional a handful of diced fresh tomato

Heat a skillet, add olive oil, then onion and sauté until transparent with
about 3/4 teaspoon salt. Add and sauté the zucchini and the garlic clove.
Add and fry the meat until it browns. If you want to use tomato, add it
now. Add perhaps 1/4 cup of water and stir up the bottom. Remove the
garlic. Toss in the bread crumbs and stir to take up all the juices. All
quantities are estimated, believe me.

i'm a little curious as to why the 'paper' should be left on the
garlic.

We saw HellboyII, and it was so-so. The X-Files would have been better.

As far as germs, I'm afraid we are surrounded. You have to wash your
hands frequently and keep your hands off your face. Never touch your
mouth, nose or your eyes.

Becca,

Yep! I keep a mini pack of unscented baby wipes in my diabetikit for fast
washing my hands and face. No glycerine to contaminate my testing.

I have a powerful little flashlight (140 lumens) that I would use to spot
all the surround sound speakers and dead center myself in the middle of
them all for the best experience.

The last flick I saw was the Bourne "Conspiracy" ??. The only problem I had
was they did such fast camera panning throughout, the surround sound was
dizzying. I couldn't stand it!

Just waiting until they release 10.1 digital surround sound. Not just
around sound but floor to ceiling as well. That should be a nice sensory
treat.

We just saw "The Dark Knight," lasted Batman movie. It was fun. Ledger's
performance is wonderful, a better, darker Joker than Nicholson's. And the
gadgets and special effects (the reason we go to these things) are GREAT!

cybercat,

I can wait for that out on DVD, along with X-Files (didn't see enough
interesting trailers).

Best,

It should not be very garlicky, especially at breakfast. I am remembering a
Korean contractor who ate kimchee for breakfast. Leaving the paper on and
then removing it later is a whiff of garlic.

We see a lot of movies. It has been 100+ degrees in the afternoon, so
it is too hot to do anything outside. It is cloudy today, so it will be
a cool 95 degrees. Thanks for letting me know about the 10.1 digital
surround sound. Should be fun, unless Yoko Ono is singing. :+
