Default c'mon Edouard!

I feel like Tantalus himself. Only one minor rain shower in the past
six weeks -- and that produced less than 1/3 inch. I'm sitting here
at the northernmost edge of the remains of tropical storm Edouard. The
winds are gusting. The sky is gray. I can almost smell rain. And yet
Cow Hill is still dry.

Maybe I should sacrifice a chicken or a goat or a neighbor.

OBFood: oven roasted chicken thighs with lemon slices and pesto pushed
under the skin, steamed cauliflower with a reduced fresh
tomato/garlic/anchovy paste sauce, and roasted zucchini with salt and
lemon juice.

OBDry: I just watered the potted plants just in time. I'd neglected
them for two days and it was nearly fatal for some of them.

Do you mean that you want them all lined up in a row, or that you don't
want evil, harmful, and often untrue statements made about them, uh,
maligned?

I don't think I'd like duck with anchovies. Pizza, maybe, but not duck
pizza.

Oh, something like the 1940s cartoons with the lineup of fish dancing on
their tails?

<snip>

Would you like one of mine? (neighbor, that is, I have neither chicken nor
goat but plenty of neighbors....)

TammyM

ObFood: I roasted chicken boosies with a kalamata
olive/parsley/garlic/EVOO/sherry vinegar paste layered liberally betwixt
skin and flesh. Served with seriously tarted up couscous and grilled summer
squash and roasted red bell peppers. The Boyo once again commented that I
am a divine goddess. I allowed him to kiss my hand ... and then some ....
