the absolute finest pizza is not in Chicago...it's in the Burbs of
Chicago

you like deep dish - i don't care where you go...it's gonna be a bunch
of doughy shit with very tart tomato sauce and cheap mozzarella

the finest Pizza - thin crust - is gonna be out around Downers Grove -
Lisle...30 miles west of the city

i'm talking about the finest pepperoni and Italian sausage
i'm talking about the finest mozzarella and fresh mushrooms
i'm talking about cooked tomato sauce like Gramma use to make
i'm talking about a dough crust that melts in your mouth

i'm talking about an ORGASM PIZZA

you ready?
you want names and numbers?

The whole chi.gen group is crazy. I lurk for the local gossip but
there's no way I'm jumping in that hornets nest.

Where are you staying (part of town) and for how long?
Will you have a car?

There are many many very good Chicago places to eat, (not only deep dish
pizza)

I couldn't help but notice that you didn't bother to give a
suggestion. Just sniping? Every news group has one of you.

Nonsense. There is only one.

PETEINCHICAGO

His great grandfather Esposito invented the pizza, don't you know, Mr.

Nope........

huh-uh......you're wrong.

There's only one peteinchicago......and he owns this group, so be glad he's
letting you post.

Ever watch the stones in concert?

Keith Richards always bows to peteinchicago at some point in the concert.

Makes sure he gets his props right up front.

Nobody seems to try to answer your question with specific pizza joints,
probably because all the pizza places are pretty good here -- you
rarely actually get bad pizza, although it does happen, such as at a new
joint along Lake Street, just east of Desplaines.

You almost can't go wrong here, but since you're traveling about 2k
miles, here is a short list to check out:

For Deep dish Chicago Pizza
Pizzeria Uno
29 E. Ohio St.
(312) 280-5120
www.unos.com

For Amazing thin crust pizza:
Pat's Pizza
2679 N Lincoln Ave
(773) 248-0168
www.patspizza.info

For Awesome 4-cheese-no-red-sauce pizza
Pat's Pizza
628 S. Clark St.
312-427-2320
No web site of their own noticed

Excellent competition abounds.

Good luck.

So...they could be a double cheeseburger? (See your name is Pat and my name

I'm pretty sure in Chicago I went to Gina's (not Gino's)
for a traditional Chicago pizza and I was quite happy with
it. But, I have no reason to believe they're any better
than anyone else -- I only had time for one pizza.
