I see lots of threads in rec.food.cooking about hotdogs etc. Are they
not fast-food?

Although we discuss fast food ad naseam, I think most of us get more
out
of threads concerning home cooking. Hot dogs fit both categories.

Frankly, I only eat hot dogs at home. But then, I don't like them
very
much, anyway.

Some people do........ they even put pineapple on them. I don't. Neither
does Hungry Jacks, although they *do* have one burger called an 'Aussie
Burger' (IIRC) that does have beetroot on it.

Yep, I was right........

http://www.hungryjacks.com.au/

Check out the 'Aussie Brekky'. Take away the hash brown, and the
reconstituted meat patty and add some bacon and 1/2 a tomato, and *that*
would be an 'Aussie Brekky'!!

why are they made of meat?

So tell us Jerry, where is the UK? I bet $5 you couldn't find it on a
globe.

Hint, it's not in Iowa.

Jenny's car can't go over 30 MPH, probably because of the extremely
overweight baggage...oh I mean driver.
