That looks *amazing*.

Tonight's dinner was so good. I turned the other three NZ lamb chops
into a Mexican-ish lamb and rice soup. It was reminiscent of tortilla
soup or posole, but with jalapeno-cheddar croutons instead of tortillas.
(Also onions, carrots, a paprika-and-garlic broth, cilantro, and some
lemon juice. Served in deep bowls topped with the croutons and little
cubes of romano cheese and avocado.) VERY good. I will definitely make
this again.

My dinner was a dish I have been making for several years now...from
the Williams-Sonoma/Mayo Clinic cookbook. It is boneless chicken
thighs cooked with ginger, and then pineapple juice (from canned
pineapple) and soy sauce are added, and then pineapple chunks and
sesame seeds. Allowed to cook down til the liquid becomes a glaze.

I also made a new-to-me recipe from Breath of a Wok: Sweet and Sour
Cabbage, which is Napa cabbage stir fried with sliced carrots, ginger
and a sauce of rice wine, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and
cornstarch. It complemented the chicken really well. Also had some
brown rice with it, which in turn will become Pineapple and Tofu fried
rice tomorrow night.

Dang - that plated meal surely looks good - including the green beans
(cough cough <G>). But what the heck is a "beef scotch fillet steak"?
Looks like a ribeye steak to me. Either way, count me in (except the
beans! hehe).
