What did you have for dinner?

I was alone tonight so I decided to make my own version of a West
Virginia Hotdog.

http://wvhotdogblog.blogspot.com/

Jumbo hotdog rolls from Sainsbury's, Stagg chili, Herta Jumbo Hotdogs,
Tesco's Finest coleslaw, chopped raw onion and French's mustard.

It was a limited success. The chili had beans in it which was bad and
the coleslaw wasn't sweet enough, but it was ok. Homemade chili and
coleslaw the next time I think...

Washed down with a glass of Vimto.

Anyone else who's not from WV tried to make one?

It's not on the Q yet but tonight's menu:

-Rotisserie Beef tenderloin cut into 1" thick medallions (marinating right
now in balsamic, Dijon, spices, etc) Cooked on 100% lump hardwood of corse
;-) Some apple wood tossed on top.

-Cheese ravioli crusted with parmesan and Romano cheese bread crumbs and pan
fried (Thank you Rachel Ray)

-A mushroom/onion cream sauce (may contain white wine if I make it to the
booze store) to top the ravioli and for on the steak.

-Grilled asparagus or maybe grilled zucchini (there's a fat one in the
garden waiting).

-Pictures to follow if it turns out as planned. Cheers

Sounds very nice. Hope it turns out as planned as I'm looking forward to
the pictures!

My sister's boyfriend went fishing the other day, and caught 2 15#
king salmon. He was kind enough to gift us some, so we will grill some
of that, along with artichokes with garlic butter, and/or fresh green
beans cooked with bacon & garlic.

That's funny- I find it to be a strange topic to post about, but lots
of others do it.
