Default post cereal question

What is the name of the cereal that is kind of like grape-nut flakes but
cheerio shaped and crunchy? I am pretty sure it is made by post. I haven't
seen it in the grocery store lately and would like to email post and ask
about it, if I could only remember the name.

I am not much of a cereal eater, but I googled for it and found
http://www.kraftfoods.com/PostCereals/cereal.htm so maybe this web site
will jog your memory.

Thanks, I checked all the sites I could think of. I don't eat cereal often
either so a box lasts quite awhile. I think it may have been discontinued .
Maybe I should have tried to eat more of it.

Possibly it's OT but Post Bran Flakes are the most inferior version I've
ever come across. The generic Richfood version approaches Kellog's.

It's not Cracklin Oat Bran is it? The shape isn't very cheerio like
but maybe...

No, in the grocery store it was always up there next to the grape-nut
flakes and grape-nuts.

I think I remember what you are looking for. It had a round hole in
the center but was squared off on the outside perimeter.

Wasn't it something like "Cracklin' Oat Bran" ?

I can remember various people where I worked keeping it in their desks
to snack on. It was tasty but really expensive.

I have no idea really but here is a rather exhaustive list of
titles...

I went through that whole list and didn't recognize the name so if no one
else remembers it and I can't find it anywhere in the store or on line then
I must have imagined it. It sure was good though.

I was hoping that was it but no. This cereal was made out of the same stuff
that grape-nuts are made of , whatever that is, it probably isn't good for
you anyway. It was cheerio shaped but dark and super crispy.

Better look again. While they have a picture of the product at Amazon, you
can only sign up to be notified when it becomes available.

And it comes in 6-packs.
