Bah, menu didn't turn out to be what I wanted since we didn't make it to the
store to get ravioli. Instead it tuned into Mac&Cheese in a cheese sauce
then topped with cheese and bread crumbs and baked. Stuffed smoked pear,
and tenderloin from the Q with some sauted (sp?) red onions.
www.dustingodwinphoto.com/steak2.jpg and I hate the background color, too
close to the other colors :-p

Actually that was the look I was going for, the steak is the onlything
worthy

What did you stuff the pear with? How long did you smoke it? this really
intrigues me, and I just picked up some pears ;-)

It looks tasty

Well you F'ed up because that is not a steak, it's a slice of roast...
and if the other elements of the meal were unimportant to you then you
should have omited them entirely.

It was a bit of a variation on Rob Rainfords pears,
http://www.foodtv.ca/recipes/reciped...px?dishid=7729 I didn't have
all the stuff he had but they still tasted pretty good. One of my favourite
things to do with pears is to poach them in red wine, sugar, vanilla,
cinnamon or ginger (or both).

I was married to a photographer for years and all that blur is good, I
know what you were going for... This looks like a delicious meal; plus
that photo would look great framed and sold as a group of four if you
add others. I am always looking for creative ways to spice up my
cooking classroom and little photos of "dish" shots would be a
wonderful idea.

Bon Appetit

Your husband wasn't much of a photograher... looking at photos with
that much blur will cause migraines.
