Default Today's impromptu spaghetti sauce

I wanted to make spaghetti today and decided to be adventurous. And I
was.

I started off cooking 2 pounds of hamburger with some onions. While
that was cooking, I poured one jar of marinara sauce and for the first
time, one jar of vodka sauce (not knowing what to expect) into my
crockpot. I then added chopped green olives, pimento, and black
olives. I then cut up and added roasted red peppers (marinated in
olive oil in jar), mushrooms, and some fresh garlic. It looked good
and then I tasted it...

Needless to say, I absolutely loved it, so much that I ate about a
half bowl of it after just adding it to the crockpot. It is really
good. I was thinking of cooking some penne or rigatoni, but as is my
actions in the past, what I think I will do and really do is often not
the same. I think I will just stick with reg. spaghetti. I do love
angel hair but I never can get it right, always too dry.

Of course, yesterday, I bought freshly baked Italian bread. I think my
dinner is going to be quite tasty tonight.

Sounds good but all I would add is some fresh flat leaf parsley and fresh
basil.

Sounds like a sauce my husband would love! Me, I'm very finicky about
spaghetti sauce...no chunks ;-)

As far as angel hair goes, try tossing it with a drizzle of olive oil or
avocado oil and some parmesan before saucing. It helps. One of my favorite
ways to have angel hair, in fact, is just olive oil, lemon, garlic and
parmesan...maybe a bit of asiago.
