Default Farmer's Market haul...

I love getting to the Farmer's Market just as everyone is finishing setting
up. It's just nice, to me anyway, to know that there hasn't been excessive
fondling of my produce going on :-)

So, what did I get? Strawberries that were surprisingly tasty. Raspberries
too....I smelled them before I even saw them. A few ears of yellow corn, a
rare score. 2 artichokes, 3 heads of broccoli, 2 bunches of asparagus, about
a pound of green beans, 1/2 lb of yellow beans, 4 heirloom tomatoes (1
cherokee, one red & yellow and two green and gold zebras), a dozen
nectarines (white & yellow), 2 peaches, half dozen apples (gala), a yellow
watermelon, a basket of limes, half dozen avocados, some cilantro, basil,
chives, and thyme. Oh, and eggs! 2 dozen. :-)

I am a happy camper! 2 baskets of strawberries and raspberries went towards
this morning's breakfast, along with 1/2 of the yellow watermelon, and one
of the avocados that my husband and son put on their eggs. What a nice
morning ;-)
