Bags of frozen peas make great (reusable) ice packs. when they thaw
just throw 'em back in the freezer.

Yep, and that's the ONLY way I'll ever use peas!!! As cold-packs for
any sort of injury. Any other use is, particularly as an edible dish,
is not an option in my home! <G> So the 'do not eat' warning is not
required - it's a given!

(laugh) I'll just say the peas are mushy because they're canned.
