Well, they all them Early Peas, > but I've always called 'em baby ;-) I had a friend in high school who loved those. I guess I can put them in a separate 'they're not bad' category. But I think canning is harsh for most vegetables, and peas are the most delicate ones I can think of. Canned corn, okay. Tomatoes, sure. Beans. Haven't had them in years, but I even have a thing for those canned potatoes. Peas, too mushy canned. Frozen is the way for me. Fresh is nice, but as Dave said, geez you have to peel a ton of them to get enough. And I only see them in the spring. nancy |
