I put down "love them" for frozen, but probably should have said MCINL
because I only buy frozen "petit peas". Oh, well.

Most people I know don't buy peas one at at time.

Mais au Canada one sees des choise comme " Boef mais" for Corned Beef
so petits pois would not be unreasonable.

I think a nice target that's about one acre big will do. You could
mow a wheat field in concentric circles.

I swear this is strictly a coincidence ... I rearranged my
freezer a couple of days ago. I try to keep it kind of
organized with vegetables in one bin, meat in another,
but as time goes by things get messy.

This is when I realized I can stop buying frozen peas for
some weeks to come, It's about all I have by way of
frozen vegetables, bags of frozen peas.

It's to be expected, I guess, since it's one of the only
vegetables I don't buy fresh from farmer's markets and
road stands this time of the year.

I voted love fresh and frozen peas. Canning is an awful
thing to do to them.

I confess to actually liking canned peas. IMO opinion they taste more
like fresh peas than the frozen kind do, but they don't have the
texture. I rarely buy fresh peas because they are so expensive. It
costs $2-3 for a quart basket of them and after 15 minutes of shelling
you have enough peas for two people to have or or two forkfuls of them.

I had the same thought with canned. I don't like canned peas, except for Le
Seur canned baby peas (in the silver labeled can). I love those. With milk,
butter, salt & pepper.

My issue with frozen peas is they tend to be tougher, to me at least. I love
the Le Sueur canned baby peas. Well, they all them Early Peas, but I've
always called 'em baby ;-)

James Beard also liked those a lot too. I have a few books in which
he mentions that for canned peas, those are the best.
