My garden is 50' X 50', but a fourth that size (24' X 12') is plenty
to feed a family of four with lots to give away... go for it. My last
garden (Long Island burbs) was 18' X 11', the space along side my
garage to my fence... it produced way more than I could possibly use.
I often wish my present garden was smaller, that's why I devoted about
a third to blueberry bushes. People think they need a huge space for
a vegetable garden, they don't. Right now I have far more tomatoes
than any ten families can consume, can't give them away fast enough.
And yesterday I counted over 50 acorn and butternut sq
