Default OY, Sky! Talking about peas...

It's a conspiracy, I tell you. You must be involved somehow.

I have been to 4 different supermarkets this week and there weren't any
frozen peas to be found. Corn, sprouts, beans, carrots, you name it -
but no peas.

So what have you done with them all? Hmmmm?

I had a bag
Dinner last night was dried chipped beef in a cream sauce with shitake
mushrooms and little baby english peas, served on rye and pumpernickle
croutons. Salad and canned beets on the side. A nice easy "pantry" meal.

Sounds good to me. Got any leftovers? ;-)

I am miffed about the peas tho'. There must be a 'shortage' for some
reason. I don't buy many frozen veggies because we grow some of our own
and have a decent fresh veggie market not too far way - but frozen baby
peas are good.

Anyway, I have decided on calamari salad for tonight - must be all the
talk about squid in another thread <LOL>.

I'm very sorry for cornering the world supply. I think they grow
fast so new peas should be coming down the pipeline soon.

Eh, she probably deserved it for something else. Heh.

It's a collusion, a conspired collusion! It's best I don't name
additional names - no tellin' what'll happen then.

<LOL> But it's the first time ever that I haven't been able to find
frozen peas 'round here. Really strange. One supermarket I can
understand, maybe they just didn't do a re-stock... but 4 of them?
Dunno.
