again, this may be a peculiarity of 40tude dialog, but that doesn't seem to
be the case.

the way dialog seems to work is that the people you kill still show up, but
they are 'dark,' so to speak, and navigation skips over them. <takes a
quick look> o.k., i'm using the 'markread' rather than the 'delete'
option. i'm still dicking around with it.

BIG hairy deal [hehe], blake...so cyber has a hoo - hoo that is to laff
at...don't be crying that I mock it...and we notice that you and cyber's
"banter" isn't exactly the stuff that would be eligible for literary prizes
either - except maybe in _Highlights For Children_.

One of the best features of Dialog is to be able to set up custom
views. I have three views

Threads with unread messages (show complete thread).
Unread messages (threaded, but don't show complete threads)
All posts, including read and ignored messages (good for seeing
all the spam and shit you're missing).

Dialog really has a shitload of customization you can do to it.
Here at work I use Seamonkey so as not to be so conspicuous as
it's integrated into my email client (we actually have a rule that
everyone must use Outlook, but **** 'em!). I really hate using
anything other than Dialog.

well, like i say, i'm still fooling with it. with agent, you didn't see
killed people at all. with markread in dialog, i can still look at
sheldon's or morrow's posts if i'm in the mood for childish obscenities and
general imbecility, but they're also easy to skip.

your pal,
blake
