Default rec idea: Peppermint Sandwich

Well, this is rather decadent! Maybe something for a Christmas
buffet or???

Crush peppermint candy and mix with whipped cream (seems to be
lots more candy than cream). Spread on thin rounds of buttered
chocolate bread.

I think I will try to forget I ever saw this.

Surprisingly, this is NOT from a December issue, but rather from
the April 1937 American Cookery.

I can't say I am trying to gather the ingredients for that
